This cozy and inviting restaurant is indeed hidden away! We were greeted and seated upon entering and given our choice of tables. We sat by the windows which look north. I'm sure the western view is better, but it was very cold that day. The fireplace next to some of the tables was lit after we sat down. Our server was a very nice lady who seemed to be the only weight staff working for the first hour. After perusing the menu, my husband chose to have the veggie omelette, and I had the Chorizo Scramble (which was apparently cooked as an omelette). My husband really loved the omelette, saying it was one of the best he had had in the Springs. My scrambled/omelette was also delicious. The sour cream on the scramble actually went really well with the potatoes. This was our second visit to Rudy's and our first time for breakfast. We will definitely come here again!

Excellent food and excellent service! I have always gotten very good service at this place. It's nice to sit outside in the better weather and they have the best chips in town!

Tucked away behind Motor City lies a delicious Mexican restaurant called Rudy's Hideaway. Their breakfast nachos are a home run hit everytime. The wait staff are super friendly. They make you feel like you are among your Aunt's and Uncles. Rudy may pop over to wipe down a nearby table and check on you real quick. Have room for something sweet after your meal? You have not lived until you try their blueberry pancakes ! Pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee

Service was prompt and efficient. Food was ok, better than Taco Bell, but not Senor Manuel's.

Went to Rudy's for breakfast this morning and I was so happy to see fair prices on the menu ! The food was delivered to our table rather quickly ! I love that you could tell it was made with "real" and fresh ingredients. The green chili was so flavorful + hot. Definitely worth the trip across town !

Every time I come to the Springs I visit Rudy's. One of my friends who loves spicy food introduced me to it years ago and I've come here ever since. They have a lot of great dishes, but my favorite is the El Rey burrito, which has polish sausage, potatoes, eggs, cheese, green chili...yeah, all good stuff, and a nice burn. Service is always good and it's a friendly, relaxed place. It's off the beaten path but packed with locals, one of the ways you know it's good.

It's a great TexMex place that I believe is underrated. When my husband and I travel, we usually don't go to the same restaurants twice, but we just had to come back for the basket of churros! I wish we took pictures of our dinner, but the burrito, enchilada, tamale combo was great and the Power Bowl was delicious!

We came to this cozy little place after waiting over an hour at another restaurant. Arrived here about 20 minutes before closing and had no idea but the staff was very welcoming and had no issue with serving us! It was quite a relaxing atmosphere with a good amount of natural light and perfect music to set the mood. The food came out quick and everything requested was brought with our meals. Just wish the green chili was a bit more spicy. I'd suggest this restaurant to anyone that enjoys Mexican cuisine, I'll have to try more of the breakfast items next time I'm in the area.

Burrito chimichanga with carne asada and green chile...oh my goodness! Just amazing...the ambiance reassured you, you were in the right place for Mexican food and the service was everything you'd expect it to be. Coming from Texas, I'm definitely a little apprehensive about getting good Mexican food when I travel. Rudy's didn't NOT disappoint and I could eat there every week! The food came out fast and piping hot. The chimichanga was fried to perfection, the burrito was big enough to feed two people. The green Chile brought out all the flavors and they didn't skimp on the carne asada. Paired with the usual company of rice and refrained beans and I left there a happy woman.
